The $500 deposit helps us make sure that intended parents are truly ready to begin their surrogacy journey 🤝. It’s a simple way for us to prioritize time and support for those who are serious and prepared. While many people are still exploring — which we completely understand! — this deposit helps us focus on helping those who are ready to move forward with SurroConnect 💡. And don’t worry — the deposit is fully refundable once your match is confirmed and legal contracts are signed 💵✨
❓ Is the $500 deposit fully refundable?
Yes — in most cases, the $500 deposit is fully refundable because it’s a deposit, not a fee. It helps us confirm that the intended parents are genuinely ready to begin their surrogacy journey. You’ll receive a full refund if we cannot provide a suitable surrogate profile within 4 months or if you successfully match and sign a legal contract with a surrogate.
In rare cases, the deposit may not be refundable. For example, if a profile has already been agreed upon, a meeting has occurred, and the intended parent decides to withdraw without a clear or reasonable explanation. Of course, if genuine concerns arise after the meeting, we understand and respect that. Surrogacy is a deeply personal journey, and thoughtful decisions are important. We ask that all choices be made sincerely and in good faith so everyone involved — especially the surrogate — feels respected and supported. ❤️
❓ Is the one-hour consultation required? Will there be a charge for future questions?
We offer one complimentary one-hour video consultation 🕐 to every intended parent seriously considering surrogacy with SurroConnect. Before this session, we kindly ask you to complete a short questionnaire 📄 and provide one piece of ID, so we can prepare in advance and offer thoughtful, personalized advice. Each family is eligible for one free consultation only, which helps us focus our time and energy on those who are ready to move forward.
Limiting consultations in this way allows us to provide smoother coordination and higher-quality service 🎯 to families already in the matching process. After the initial call, you’re always welcome to email us with questions 📧 — and we’ll do our best to respond within one business day, completely free of charge.
If you’d like to schedule an additional video consultation, we’ll offer it at $150 USD per hour 💵 (with a one-hour minimum). Please note we have a 24-hour cancellation policy ⏳—cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged a 50% fee to fairly compensate for the reserved time.
